======================== * Initial Wifi setup * ======================== 1. Plug the alarm into a well-powered USB socket. Preferrably something that will remain powered 24/7. 2. When the alarm first receives power, it will light up for 1 second. You can now proceed to the next step. 3. Using your phone, search for a wifi network called "BroeAlarm" or similar. Connect to it, and you should be prompted to open a login page. If not, open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.4.1. 4. On the page that loads, you will be able to select your home wifi network. Enter your wifi password, and the alarm will restart. Setup is now complete! ======================== * Using your alarm * ======================== A. Your alarm is designed to remain powered at all times, and connected to wifi. B. Next to the power cable is a small power switch, which mutes the alarm. If the switch is off the alarm will remain powered and connected but will not light up even if summoned. C. On the front of the alarm is a colored push button. Hold down this button until the alarm lights up, and all other alarms will also be triggered. Your light will automatically turn off after 10 seconds, but the others will keep going. (Note: This button will not work if your alarm is muted!) D. If your alarm is triggered by someone else, simply press the button once to stop it from flashing. This signals your readiness for games. ========================= * Using the dashboard * ========================= X. Once your alarm is powered up and connected to wifi, visit broes.online from the same wifi connection that the alarm is using, and you will gain access to the dashboard. Y. The top list will show all other alarms, and their current status: connected, enabled, flashing. To trigger a single alarm, click its display name. To trigger all alarms at once, use the physical button on your alarm. Z. The bottom list shows your alarm. Click the display name of your alarm to modify the settings. "Ring time" is the number of seconds your alarm will ring when someone else triggers it, before automatically turning off (unless you turn it off sooner).
